Comprehensive Training Grounds · Version 1.0.33

Sephiria Training Grounds Guide

Test the items you have already unlocked before committing to a risky run: enter from the Training Grounds, open your inventory and compare one decision at a time.

Player question

How do you use Sephiria’s Comprehensive Training Grounds to test a build?

In Version 1.0.31, enter the Comprehensive Training Grounds from the Training Grounds entrance. Once inside, open your inventory to take out and try items you have already unlocked. Use it to compare a specific Artifact, Tablet or upgrade choice before you commit a live run—not to assume that a single test proves a universal best build.

01Enter first, then open your inventory

The Comprehensive Training Grounds was added in the official 1.0.31 update. Start at the Training Grounds entrance, enter the Comprehensive Training Grounds, then open the inventory. TEAM HORAY specifically states that the inventory lets you take out and try items that you have unlocked so far. That is the shortest reliable route when a player wants to test a named item instead of hoping it appears during a run.

This wording matters: the official note says unlocked items. Treat the space as a way to examine the tools already available on your save, not as confirmation that every database entry or future drop is automatically available. If an item is absent, first check its exact name, whether it is unlocked on that save and whether you are testing on the current game version.

  • Go to the Training Grounds entrance.
  • Enter Comprehensive Training Grounds.
  • Open the inventory after entering.
  • Take out an item you have already unlocked and test one question at a time.

02Ask one build question per test

A focused test answers a player decision faster than an oversized “best build” setup. Start with one question: does this upgrade change the attack I actually use, does this Artifact require a trigger I can repeat, or does this Tablet placement leave space for the rest of the board? Change one variable, observe it, then write down what changed. This keeps a visual result from turning into a false synergy claim.

For example, Version 1.0.31 added Blinding Silence, which immediately activates Thunder’s Earring after Special Attack: Cleave, and Garden of Needle Ice, which changes Ice Vine’s active behavior. Those are good, bounded questions to test if you already have the relevant unlocks. The patch wording establishes the relationship; your test tells you whether its timing and control feel useful for your own weapon rhythm.

  • Name the weapon, item and exact action you are testing.
  • Use the same setup before and after a single change.
  • Capture the full inventory or board, not only a damage number.
  • Record the game version so a later patch does not silently invalidate the result.

03Test boards and upgrades without inventing Tablet math

Use the room to inspect your own placement choices, then sketch alternatives in the Tablet Board Planner. The planner is intentionally visual: it helps preserve a layout and compare space pressure, but it does not calculate unverified Tablet geometry, range or damage. A useful workflow is to test an unlocked item in-game, record what the tooltip and behavior show, then use the planner to keep a candidate layout for the next run.

Weapon upgrades deserve the same discipline. The 1.0.31 patch added Prismatic Magic Wand for Sword & Shield, Bloodletting Gearblade for Greatsword, M-9200 for Crossbow and Cerulean Cloud Sword Arges for Blade. Each changes a specific action or scaling rule. Test the input and trigger described in its official text before pairing it with unrelated tags or presenting it as a complete route.

04Turn a useful result into a reproducible field note

A screenshot of a large hit is not enough for another player to reproduce a conclusion. Keep the weapon, game version, Solo or Co-op status, difficulty, active Hard Mode elements, complete board, upgrade list and result together. If your result depends on a particular trigger, capture the tooltip and the action that activates it. That lets a reader distinguish a documented interaction from a one-off favorable offer sequence.

Use the local Build evidence form to export that context before sharing a route. A report stays a player field note until the setup and outcome can be reviewed; it becomes more useful when repeated under comparable conditions. This protects players from confident-looking, outdated recommendations while still giving them a concrete way to test the next decision in front of them.
