Use the catalogue

Turn an icon into a decision

A catalogue page should do more than list names. Use the visual, verification and connection layers in this order.

01

Identify the record

Match the icon and source name first. A localized name is shown only after it has been checked against first-party game text.

02

Check its evidence

Open the record to see its source update, version, historical change and whether the current effect has passed a live-game check.

03

Follow the decision

Move from the record into relevant weapon routes, research Builds and the Tablet planner without treating a tag as proof of synergy.

Artifact questions, answered

How to use the Sephiria Artifact index

Use these answers to distinguish an item identification, a historical patch record and a current effect that has passed a live-game check.

Read the official Steam feature description
What are Artifacts, and how do they relate to Tablets?

Artifacts are effect-bearing items. Official Sephiria feature copy says Tablets empower adjacent Artifacts, so a useful run decision considers both the Artifact’s current effect and the inventory space that can support it. Shared tags alone are research context, not proof of a synergy.

How do I check an Artifact I find during a run?

Match its icon and name first, then open the record to read the official source, version and verification state. A source link can establish when the item appeared or changed; only a current in-game check can confirm that the live tooltip still says the same thing.

Why is this a partial Artifact index instead of a complete database?

The index publishes records only when they have a traceable first-party source. It does not turn datamined names, screenshots from other wikis or incomplete tooltips into finished entries. Missing records and fields remain visible gaps until they can be documented and checked properly.

What do Verified, Source-backed and Needs review mean?

Verified means the current effect has passed the wiki’s live-game checklist. Source-backed confirms a name, icon or historical patch context from a first-party source, but not every live mechanic. Needs review marks information that still requires a current version, localization or in-game check.

Can I treat an old patch note as the current Artifact tooltip?

No. Patch notes are useful historical evidence, but later updates can change values or wording. Check the version shown on the record, open its official source and compare it with the current game before relying on a number, condition or rarity for a run decision.

Does an Artifact linked to Build research become a required or best-in-slot item?

No. A Build link shows where the item is being investigated in context. It does not claim that the Artifact is required, optimal or proven to interact with every linked record. Read the Build page’s source-backed anchors and separate test candidates before planning around it.
